Tuscan Mining has designed and developed a TSL machine to apply thin skin linings.

This machine is in its second year of operation and through continued development of this machine Tuscan Mining has become the primary underground coatings supplier to major coal operations in the area, the brainchild of one of our Directors Gawie Prinsloo.

Many of the parts as well as the fabrication of the machine was custom designed and built in our workshop facility in Trichardt.

Tuscan Mining specializes in numerous welding techniques like GTAW, SMAW, CO² on various material in all positions. Tuscan Mining has completed multiple fabrication projects for Sasol OMT like the FAD 5 D Ring Header Project, The FAD 6 C EAST piping Fabrication Project and The FAD 6 C West Piping Fabrication Project just to name a few.

Tuscan Mining Projects Division owns most of its equipment needed to complete major fabrication projects that include welding equipment compressors and sandblasting equipment hydro testing equipment coatings application equipment etc.
